You would have to use a dial spacer, and increase the cannon pinion heights on the movement so that the hands would clear the dial. Quite frankly, that would cost more than just using the correct movement to begin with and by using the 2836 you'd have a better setup because the dial feet would attach to the movement. I used a 5500 rolex case with a gen tudor dial recently and I used a low beat 2783, which lined up perfectly with the stem. I used a raffles movement ring for ETA which I had to grind out some little sections so the tabs could be screwed down low enough to grip under the case.

I have come across a rolex watch case with no movement! The case reference is 16200. I am thinking of putting an ETA 2836-2 movement in it temporarily. I am pretty sure I have heard of this being done and as I understand, basically this is a Tudor. It appears I need a movement spacer ring. Anyone know if this exists and where I can get one .
