I have noticed while wearing it that the second hand seems to skip and jump occasionally. Sometimes ill even see it stop for a second and jump to catch up. I'm not sure . There is a sweeping second hand on the 9 O'Clock sub dial. I too like to see the hand move and was first a little put off by having to look at the sub dial, but once you get used .Take the movement out. Touch the second hand (gently) with a piece of pegwood. If it moves easily you’ll know. It should be “tight” on the post and not move with a gentle touch.
