The makeup industry’s churning out full coverage, matte, 24-hour wear foundations lately and in this week’s Foundation Friday for Over 50s I’m taking a look at YSL All Hours Foundation. I’m putting it to the ‘Angie Test’ to see if it lives up to it’s claims for mature skin!
With its claims of being a full coverage foundation with a luminous finish that lasts for 24 hours, I knew I had to put this YSL foundation to the dancefloor test. Read on for my full Yves Saint Laurent Foundation review. I knew I’d cause a stir by giving my opinion on the DE C serum, but I’ve gotten so many requests to review it that I had to finally bite the bullet even though I knew fans of the product would be upset.The YSL heel is microscopically cut more flush. Winner: YSL. Price: FTF by a country mile. Overall: Tied! I like the YSL more. But like 3% more, and if I didn’t have both boots side by side, I wouldn’t be able to point out any differences. FTF is less than half the price. Conclusion: If you don’t mind spending 0+ and hunting, get the YSL.
